C&#8217;est une \u00eele situ\u00e9e dans la baie Lan Ha au sud de la baie d&#8217;Ha Long. N&#8217;ayant pas envie de payer le prix fort pour visiter la baie d&#8217;Ha Long, nous avons d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de prendre une chambre dans un h\u00f4tel sur cette \u00eele et de visiter la baie de Lan Ha en kayak. En plus, cette baie est moins touristique. La diff\u00e9rence avec Ha Long est que les pics karstiques sont plus rapproch\u00e9s. Le soir nous d\u00eenons dans notre chambre \u00e0 l&#8217;h\u00f4tel: deux bananes et une mangue que Madame Hien nous a offertes en d\u00e9but de semaine font l&#8217;affaire.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le lendemain nous partons visiter l&#8217;\u00eele en scooter. Nous nous baladons longuement dans le parc naturel et montons jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 un beau point de vue situ\u00e9 \u00e0 environ 200 m\u00e8tres d&#8217;altitude (petits joueurs). Nous visitons une grotte qui servit d&#8217;h\u00f4pital pendant la guerre. C&#8217;est tr\u00e8s beau et impressionnant. Le silence dans la grotte est pesant et nous avons l&#8217;impression d&#8217;\u00eatre dans une \u00e9norme coquille, coup\u00e9s du monde. Nous en profitions pour regarder le film Downsizing dans lequel il y a une caricature de vietnamienne plut\u00f4t r\u00e9aliste et hilarante ! A voir si vous voulez vous faire une id\u00e9e de ce que l&#8217;on vit tous les jours dans la rue lorsque des vietnamiens nous hurlent dessus pour nous dire de nous asseoir pour manger \u00e0 leur stand ou leur acheter une bouteille d&#8217;eau ou juste pour nous dire bonjour !! C&#8217;est toujours avec beaucoup de gentillesse, mais une gentillesse un peu rude (et orient\u00e9e bien s\u00fbr).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pas m\u00e9contents de faire un peu de sport nous rejoignons, le lendemain matin, l&#8217;agence dans laquelle nous avons r\u00e9serv\u00e9 notre journ\u00e9e en kayak. Nous embarquons dans un bateau qui va nous amener au point de d\u00e9part de notre balade. Rien que pendant ce trajet en bateau, le paysage est absolument magnifique. Nous sommes \u00e9bahis devant cette nature si imposante. Le bateau file entre les \u00eeles qui sont toutes aussi impressionnantes les unes que les autres. Nous croisons \u00e9galement plusieurs villages sur l&#8217;eau.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Arriv\u00e9s pr\u00e8s d&#8217;une \u00eele, nous montons dans nos kayaks. L&#8217;eau n&#8217;est pas tr\u00e8s chaude mais l&#8217;effort devrait nous r\u00e9chauffer et nous commen\u00e7ons notre promenade les fesses dans l&#8217;eau. Nous sommes cinq kayaks biplaces ce qui rend la balade plus agr\u00e9able que si nous \u00e9tions un grand groupe. Nous entrons dans des \u00eeles o\u00f9 nous d\u00e9couvrons des plages cach\u00e9es, des temples anciens. Nous ne croisons personne. Le silence est seulement interrompu par les oiseaux. C&#8217;est magique. Nous pagayons tranquillement (surtout Louis-Alban) pendant 2 bonnes heures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Notre guide nous fait d\u00e9couvrir plusieurs \u00eeles qu&#8217;elle appr\u00e9cie et nous fait passer sous certaines d&#8217;entre elles. Le niveau de l&#8217;eau n&#8217;est pas tr\u00e8s haut \u00e0 cette \u00e9poque de l&#8217;ann\u00e9e ce qui nous permet d&#8217;emprunter plusieurs chemins qui ne sont pas praticables en haute saison. C&#8217;est une excursion g\u00e9niale ! La guide nous explique que selon la l\u00e9gende, lors de la guerre avec la Chine, des dragons combattirent pour la victoire du Vietnam. Les b\u00e9b\u00e9s dragons auraient form\u00e9 les \u00eeles karstiques de Lan Ha tandis que les parents dragons auraient form\u00e9 celles d&#8217;Ha Long qui sont plus grandes et plus \u00e9loign\u00e9es entre elles. Ce n&#8217;est pas facile de se remouiller surtout qu&#8217;il se met \u00e0 pleuvioter pendant une petite demi-heure. Nous nous baladons pr\u00e8s de villages sur l&#8217;eau o\u00f9 nous sommes accueillis par des hordes de chiens de garde en folie. Il faut apparemment faire attention \u00e0 ce qu&#8217;ils ne sautent pas dans nos kayaks ! L&#8217;apr\u00e8s-midi passe tr\u00e8s vite, nous nous r\u00e9galons \u00e0 pagayer dans nos petits kayaks entre ces immenses \u00eeles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nous rentrons en fin de journ\u00e9e en ayant pris plein les yeux. Le trajet du retour est aussi beau que celui de l&#8217;aller mais j&#8217;arrive quand m\u00eame \u00e0 m&#8217;endormir sur le pont du bateau.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nous passons une derni\u00e8re bonne soir\u00e9e \u00e0 Cat Ba que nous quittons le lendemain matin en bus, direction la ville de Ninh Binh autrement surnomm\u00e9e la &#8220;baie de Ha Long terrestre&#8221;.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Tam Coc<\/em><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La ville de Ninh Binh dans laquelle nous arrivons n&#8217;a pas d&#8217;int\u00e9r\u00eat et nous nous rendons rapidement \u00e0 Tam Coc situ\u00e9e \u00e0 quelques kilom\u00e8tres. C&#8217;est de cet endroit que partent les balades entres les pics karstiques. La diff\u00e9rence avec ce que nous avons vu \u00e0 Cat Ba c&#8217;est que les pics karstiques de Tam Coc bordent des rivi\u00e8res et ne sont pas au milieu de la mer. Il est donc possible de faire des sorties en barque sur ces cours d&#8217;eau, entre les pics.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Louis-Alban ayant un gros mal de gorge et moi des dizaines de piq\u00fbres d&#8217;araign\u00e9e sur tout le corps, nous nous mettons \u00e0 la recherche d&#8217;une pharmacie d\u00e8s que nous arrivons dans la ville.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Notre premi\u00e8re balade le lendemain est sur la rivi\u00e8re Ngo Dong. L&#8217;embarcad\u00e8re est dans le centre ville et nous embarquons sur un bateau dirig\u00e9 par une vieille dame tout fr\u00eale. Comme d\u00e9crit dans tous les guides et blogs que nous avons regard\u00e9 en amont, elle se met \u00e0 ramer avec les pieds. La promenade est sympa, nous passons entre les rizi\u00e8res \u00e0 flanc de pics. Nous nous y rendons \u00e0 v\u00e9lo en empruntant des chemins escarp\u00e9s \u00e0 travers les rizi\u00e8res. Lorsque nous arrivons sur le lieu, c&#8217;est DisneyLand des pics karstiques ! Des dizaines de cars d\u00e9versent des centaines de vietnamiens qui se ruent sur les \u00e9talages de nourriture du parking avant de se jeter dans des barques au niveau de la station d&#8217;embarcation. Nous avions lu que c&#8217;\u00e9tait un endroit tr\u00e8s appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 des vietnamiens mais nous n&#8217;\u00e9tions pas pr\u00e9par\u00e9s aux mouvements de foule et au niveau sonore. C&#8217;est sympa de partager la barque avec des vietnamiens. Au d\u00e9but en tout cas &#8230; car ils vont ensuite nous forcer \u00e0 pagayer pendant tout le trajet. Ils ne peuvent pas se laisser porter tranquillement par la rameuse, il faut qu&#8217;ils d\u00e9passent les autres bateaux en pagayant avec elle. Nous ramons un petit peu au d\u00e9but puis arr\u00eatons malgr\u00e9 leurs regards insistants&#8230; !<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le voyage est tr\u00e8s beau, nous passons dans 9 grottes diff\u00e9rentes et nous arr\u00eatons \u00e0 plusieurs endroits pour visiter des temples. C&#8217;est un site class\u00e9 au patrimoine mondial de l&#8217;UNESCO. Nous prenons nos v\u00e9los le matin pour nous rendre jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 un site bouddhique comprenant un immense stupa qui domine une vall\u00e9e. Voulant \u00e9viter l&#8217;autoroute nous prenons des petits chemins. Cela double le temps de trajet. Nos v\u00e9los \u00e9tant tr\u00e8s inconfortables nous arrivons \u00e9puis\u00e9s (surtout moi) avec les fesses en compote. Une fois entr\u00e9s dans le site, heureusement gratuit, nous r\u00e9alisons que les monuments qui le composent sont r\u00e9cents et qu&#8217;il n&#8217;a aucun charme ni int\u00e9r\u00eat historique. Tant pis, nous faisons une sieste sur un banc, un petit tour rapide de l&#8217;endroit et repartons. Le trajet du retour que nous appr\u00e9hendions (surtout moi) passe finalement rapidement car nous empruntons la voie rapide.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En chemin nous nous arr\u00eatons \u00e0 Hang Mua, un point de vue situ\u00e9 \u00e0 119 m\u00e8tres d&#8217;altitude.
