Nous ne visitons pas la ville et nous y arr\u00eatons seulement pour passer la nuit avant de repartir le lendemain pour Taupo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Une fois arriv\u00e9s, nous nous promenons au bord de la surpuissante cascade \u00ab\u00a0Hukka fall\u00a0\u00bb et, la r\u00e9gion de Taupo \u00e9tant connue pour son activit\u00e9 g\u00e9othermique, nous finissons la journ\u00e9e en nous baignant avec bonheur dans les sources d\u2019eau chaude en p\u00e9riph\u00e9rie de la ville. Bien s\u00fbr, je (Diane) glisse sur les pierres, me tord un doigt et m\u2019ouvre deux doigts de pieds. Il n\u2019y a presque personne dans les rues. Certes la temp\u00e9rature n\u2019incite pas \u00e0 des balades nocturnes. Qu\u2019\u00e0 cela ne tienne, nous bravons le froid pour aller au restaurant car d\u00eener dans le van ne nous tentait pas ce soir-l\u00e0. Nous avons, comme d\u2019habitude, tr\u00e8s bien choisi et le d\u00eener est d\u00e9licieux. \u00c7a change des p\u00e2tes et des salades \u00e0 tous les repas\u00a0!<\/p>\n<h2><em>Jour 20 \u2013 13 ao\u00fbt<\/em><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Journ\u00e9e sur le th\u00e8me de la g\u00e9othermie\u00a0! Nous sommes \u00e9galement impressionn\u00e9s par les mud pools que nous visitons apr\u00e8s le parc. Louis-Alban passe la journ\u00e9e du 14 \u00e0 conduire ce qui n\u2019est pas tr\u00e8s dr\u00f4le mais les paysages sont jolis. Le lendemain, nous suivons un chemin de randonn\u00e9e qui nous am\u00e8ne jusqu\u2019\u00e0 Cathedral Cove, une jolie plage sur laquelle il y a un gros trou dans un rocher. Comme nous dormons de plus en plus mal, nous faisons une \u00e9norme sieste au retour et nous r\u00e9veillons juste \u00e0 temps pour aller nous baigner \u00e0 la Hot Water Beach. Quelles que soient les conditions m\u00e9t\u00e9o, il suffit de venir avec sa pelle et de creuser un trou dans le sable 2h avant ou 2h apr\u00e8s la mar\u00e9e haute pour pouvoir se baigner. Nous allons f\u00eater \u00e7a au pub du coin o\u00f9 nous sommes saouls apr\u00e8s respectivement 3 cidres et 2 pintes de bi\u00e8res&#8230; On a perdu l\u2019habitude de boire ! Nous rencontrons de tr\u00e8s gentils kiwis (les locaux, pas les fruits ni les animaux) qui confirment notre amour pour ce pays\u00a0!<\/p>\n<h2><em>Jour 23 \u2013 16 ao\u00fbt<\/em><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nettoyage \u00e0 fond du van et route jusqu\u2019\u00e0 Auckland. Nous arrivons in extremis avant la fermeture \u00e0 l\u2019endroit o\u00f9 nous devons rendre la voiture. L\u2019employ\u00e9e ne regarde m\u00eame pas si elle est propre et, apr\u00e8s un bref tour du v\u00e9hicule, r\u00e9cup\u00e8re les cl\u00e9s sans un mot\u2026 On est verts, on s\u2019est d\u00e9men\u00e9s pour rien\u00a0! Ben vient nous chercher et nous embarque avec nos bagages et sacs de manouches pour Ponsonby l\u00e0 o\u00f9 Miranda, Luca,\u00a0Zac et lui habitent.<\/p>\n<h2><em>Jour 24\/25\/26 \u2013 17\/<\/em><em>18\/19 ao\u00fbt<\/em><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Qu\u2019est-ce-que nous avons \u00e9t\u00e9 bien re\u00e7us chez les Longhurst\u00a0!! Nous dormons comme des b\u00e9b\u00e9s dans un bon lit douillet. On r\u00e9cup\u00e8re petit \u00e0 petit des nuits dans le van. Miranda et Ben nous accueillent comme des rois dans leur superbe maison et nous passons un excellent week-end en compagnie de leur famille et de leurs amis. Nous garderons un souvenir m\u00e9morable du d\u00eener du samedi soir o\u00f9 nous avons ri du d\u00e9but \u00e0 la fin de la soir\u00e9e\u00a0! Le bon vin n\u00e9o-z\u00e9landais servi par Ben accentuait le tout et nous avons mang\u00e9 confit de canard, gratin dauphinois et g\u00e2teau au chocolat, un vrai d\u00e9lice !<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nous passons nos deux jours \u00e0 Auckland \u00e0 faire le plein de petites choses qui nous manquent, \u00e0 nous balader dans les rues de Ponsonby o\u00f9 les belles maisons de style victorien se succ\u00e8dent. Sur la premi\u00e8re, on a rencontr\u00e9 peu de monde, long\u00e9 des centaines de fermes et on a bien du croiser plusieurs milliers de moutons et de vaches !\u00a0Si au d\u00e9part on \u00e9tait hyper heureux de vivre dans notre van, apr\u00e8s 4000 kilom\u00e8tres on en avait marre. On dormait de plus en plus mal et on commen\u00e7ait \u00e0 devenir claustrophobes ! Enfin, la Nouvelle-Z\u00e9lande c\u2019est le s\u00e9jour de tous les exc\u00e8s. Entre ski et restaurants, on a bien d\u00e9pass\u00e9 le budget que nous avions allou\u00e9 aux kiwis. Mais \u00e7a valait le coup et on ne reviendra pas de sit\u00f4t.
