Nous n\u2019avions pas pu faire nos visas \u00e0 Ho Chi Minh Ville car nous y \u00e9tions pendant le weekend. Nous avons donc fait appel \u00e0 une agence de bus pour qu\u2019elle s\u2019occupe des formalit\u00e9s \u00e0 la fronti\u00e8re. Cela ne nous a pas co\u00fbt\u00e9 beaucoup plus cher et de toute mani\u00e8re nous n\u2019avions plus vraiment le choix.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Apr\u00e8s de longues attentes dans des halls quasi-vides au poste-fronti\u00e8re et une ultime v\u00e9rification de nos passeports par un officiel cambodgien, nous entrons pour de bon dans le pays et montons dans le bus pour aller \u00e0 Kep, situ\u00e9e \u00e0 30 minutes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nous arrivons dans une toute petite ville tranquille au bord de l\u2019eau. Kep Sur Mer, qui est le nom de plusieurs restaurants, est connue pour son march\u00e9 aux crabes dans lequel on peut admirer et manger du crabe aux pinces bleus.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Un parc national a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 ouvert en 2011 et nous nous y baladons pendant presque 4h. Nous montons jusqu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019un des sommets pour admirer la vue ce qui nous fait perdre au moins une bonne centaine de litres d\u2019eau. Kampot est une ville plus grande et vivante que Kep. Elle s\u2019est beaucoup d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es mais il y fait bon vivre. Nous y passons un excellent et tr\u00e8s enrichissant moment. D\u2019abord parce que notre guide est hyper sympa et tr\u00e8s bon mais aussi car nous apprenons tout sur le poivre dont nous ne connaissions finalement rien\u00a0! La visite, gratuite, dure une bonne heure et demi. Le poivre noir long marin\u00e9 dans le sel et le curcuma nous ont vraiment beaucoup plu\u2026 Mais, comme ils ne se conservent qu\u2019un an (et qu\u2019ils prennent de la place) nous avons d\u00fb y renoncer\u00a0!<\/p>\n<p>http:\/\/kampotpepper.com\/<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En rentrant de notre visite nous passons entre les marais salants dans lesquels est produit le sel de mer que nous avons go\u00fbt\u00e9. Elle est si petite qu\u2019elle ne contient pas de route. Notre h\u00f4tel est situ\u00e9 \u00e0 Sarracen Bay premier stop du bateau avec lequel nous avons fait le voyage depuis la c\u00f4te. La vue \u00e0 l\u2019arriv\u00e9e est paradisiaque. Une immense plage de sable blanc s\u2019\u00e9tend devant nous et la mer est plus cristalline que jamais. Ce sentiment ne nous quittera pas pendant les trois jours que nous passons sur l\u2019\u00eele. Nous ne bougeons pas de notre baie (car pas de route) \u00e0 l\u2019exception d\u2019une excursion de 25 minutes \u00e0 pied pour rejoindre Lazy Beach une plage situ\u00e9e de l\u2019autre c\u00f4t\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00eele et de nos soir\u00e9es pass\u00e9es au Jungle Bar un bar situ\u00e9, comme son nom l\u2019indique, en plein \u00a0milieu de la jungle. Nous y passons d\u2019ailleurs deux tr\u00e8s bonnes soir\u00e9es. La premi\u00e8re est la soir\u00e9e cin\u00e9ma en plein air organis\u00e9e par le g\u00e9rant et pendant laquelle nous regardons Moi Moche et M\u00e9chant 3 et Hit Men sur un \u00e9cran g\u00e9ant en mangeant des sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9s cambodgiennes et du pop-corn sp\u00e9cialement cuisin\u00e9 pour l\u2019occasion. Les bruits des films couvrent \u00e0 peine les bruits de la jungle. La deuxi\u00e8me est la soir\u00e9e du nouvel an Khmer qui attire de nombreux expatri\u00e9s et locaux et qui est anim\u00e9e par Martin le g\u00e9rant de notre h\u00f4tel, un allemand barbu, tatou\u00e9 et tr\u00e8s mince. Il mixera toute la nuit de la house, techno, deep electro Berlin style (\u00e0 dire avec l\u2019accent allemand)\u00a0! Encore une exp\u00e9rience m\u00e9morable au milieu de la jungle. Nous passons deux jours dans une ville plus d\u00e9serte que Paris le weekend du 15 ao\u00fbt \u2026 Le nouvel an Khmer a fait fuir tous ses habitants ou alors ils sont retranch\u00e9s derri\u00e8re les rideaux de fer des magasins et restaurants. Heureusement, le mus\u00e9e de l\u2019histoire et le palais royal assurent la permanence touristique de la ville. Nous avons en revanche d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de ne pas visiter le mus\u00e9e de la guerre et le charnier situ\u00e9 en p\u00e9riph\u00e9rie de la ville. Les r\u00e9cits d\u00e9taill\u00e9s que nous avons pu lire sur les exactions commises par le bref mais intense r\u00e9gime Khmer rouge nous ont suffi.\u00a0 Nous partons le 18 avril au matin, jour o\u00f9 tous les commerces, restaurants, march\u00e9s, rouvrent.
